Green Stars: award for sustainable gastronomy

This year a new category has been added to the Michelin Guide: the Green Star. It is a distinction that seeks to reward and echo the best sustainable practices in the gastronomic world. A total of 21 establishments have been awarded this distinction, most of which have already received stars, such as Azurmendi or Aponiente previously mentioned 3 starred restaurants. The restaurants O Balado (A Coruña), Somiatruites (Barcelona), Casa Albets (Lleida) and El Llar de Viri (Asturias) stand out for being restaurants awarded a Green Star without having received a star previously.
